student SAG production of:

SYNOPSIS:
During Jim Dekker’s investigation of a murdered drug dealer, he must decide how far he’s
willing to go for the truth.
CASTING
Jim Dekker: Male, late forties/early fifties. Dekker is an honest Detective, who never
substitutes the quick and easy in place of what is right. An ideal lawman, Dekker always does
things the “right” way, never stooping to the lows of working outside of ethical police work.
William Norton: Male, late twenties. A recovered drug addict who has found his way in life
through rehabilitation and working with youth. Sober for 6 years, William has seemingly turned
his life completely around.
Travis Painter: Male, late thirties. A young detective who is quickly rising through the ranks do
to his willingness to work outside the boundaries of ethical police work. Jim’s partner.
Charlie Richardson: Male, early fifties. Police Chief, longtime friend and fellow graduate of
the police academy with Jim. Richardson quickly rose through the ranks as he would go to
extreme measures to solve his cases. He has softened as he has aged.
Michael: Male, mid-thirties. William’s boss. A man who cares about his community and all of
those that make it up.
